Meet the character who's name is quite possibly the worst Boo pun I've ever thought of!

He's Boond-James Boond!

*insert James Bond theme here if it has one*

Anyways, during the events of Paper Mario: The Dark Starlight, Luigi accidentally agrees to join Agent Double Boo 7 in a quest to thwart the plans of the dreaded Coldfinger. He's the main partner on Luigi's team.

Anyways, Luigi interludes play almost exactly Mario's adventure does. You play as Luigi and his partners, each with different abilities, and go through battles and solve puzzles as you make your way to Coldfinger's lair. Of course, there are a few obvious differences.

Luigi isn't exactly the same as Mario-he doesn't have badges and stuff. To start off, Luigi will have his Hammer and Jump commands, as well as an L Power command that slightly heals him and his partner which runs off his always 1 unit of Star Power, since Luigi can't carry items. However, Luigi will learn a new move in the Special Power section every interlude, and his stats will rise as well. As for partners, they'll start off with two attacks, but at a certain point in the story they'll get Super and Ultra Rank moves, as well as a final fifth move.

Boond's overworld ability is to make Luigi and him invisible, as any other Boo partner would probably do.

Here's a list of the moves that James Boond can use.

Scope Shot-Fires light bullets from his gun. 0 FP.
Boo-k It-Hide for a turn with Luigi. 0 FP.
Super Shot-Fire a big bullet through all enemies. 3 FP. Obtained in the Chapter 3 Interlude.
Mystery Shot-Fire a surprise bullet that confuses enemies if it works. 4 FP. Obtained in the Chapter 5 Interlude.
Final Shot-Fire 3 huge bullets through all enemies. 9 FP. Obtained in the Chapter 8 Interlude.

Oh and Boond's gun isn't really a gun. It's a Super Scope. Look it up.
